Leeds Playhouse Appointed UXG to Transform Digital Strategy As Part of Eight-figure Refurbishment

Leeds-based digital solutions provider UXG has recently completed the works on a project to upgrade the digital strategy and wayfinding media for Leeds Playhouse, as part of the theatre’s eight-figure transformation.

DynaScan Hires Yuichi Sekiguchi as General Manager of DynaScan Japan

Yokohama-shi, Japan (July 30, 2019) – DynaScan Technology, the leading manufacturer of premium display solutions, is pleased to announce its recent hire of Yuichi Sekiguchi who joins the DynaScan team as a General Manager of DynaScan Japan. Within his role, Mr. Sekiguchi will be responsible for identifying, developing, and expanding relationships with distributors and resellers in the professional display industry within the Japanese region, as well as building a team to support DynaScan’s growth through sales, support, and operations.

Mr. Sekiguchi brings with him nearly 30-years of experience in the digital display industry, previously employed by Toshiba where he most recently served as Visual Products Global Marketing, focusing on product marketing including concept and strategy.

Mr. Sekiguchi’s appointment comes at a time of continued global growth at DynaScan as the company continues to shake up the professional AV industry with its line of high bright displays, including window-facing and full outdoor LCDs. “We are very excited as Yuichi joins our team. Digital Signage Summit Europe (DSS) is Europe’s leading strategy conference for the Digital Signage and Digital out of Home industry. DynaScan to Exhibit at Digital Signage Japan 2019

DynaScan Technology is pleased to announce it will be exhibiting for the first time at Digital Signage Japan (DSJ) in June. DSJ is the largest show in Japan exclusively dedicated to showcasing innovative digital communications and interactive technology solutions for customer-and employee-facing organizations. DynaScan will be exhibiting a wide array of professional display solutions including its industry-leading line of ultra-high bright LCDs.

Joining the DynaScan Ultra High Brightness product line, the DS752LR4 is a 75-inch sunlight readable LCD producing a 3500-nit image. Featuring Ultra HD 4K resolution, the display is designed for high ambient light locations such as storefront windows and outdoor kiosks.

DynaScan will also exhibit its new 88-inch stretch LCD—the DI881LT2. With an ultra-wide 32:9 aspect ratio, this display is modular in design, allowing it to be installed in stand-alone, dual-sided, and triple-sided arrangements—providing an eye-catching design sure to attract viewers. The screen features a bright 1000-nit image, TrueColor™ calibration for unparalleled color quality and uniformity, and is designed for special applications where height is limited and is ideal for life-size digital mannequin content applications when installed in portrait orientation.

Also being presented will be an updated 100-inch indoor LCD—the DI100ST2. This year, the display has received an enhanced SoC (system on a chip) featuring Android™ 7.1, 4K resolution, and is equipped with HDMI 2.0 video input. Featuring a 700 nit UHD 4K image, wide color gamut, and TrueColor calibration, the display features exceptional color reproduction.
