DynaScan Opens Sales Office in the United Kingdom

DynaScan Technology opens a new sales office in Maidenhead, Berkshire, England. Gavin Croxford, appointed Business Development manager for DynaScan, to lead new sales office.

DynaScan Technology, the industry leader in manufacturing professional display solutions, today announced it has opened a new sales office in Maidenhead, Berkshire, England. This new location will allow DynaScan to better serve existing and future customers in the region. Gavin Croxford, a veteran in the professional AV industry, will lead the company’s development efforts in UK’s digital display market for DynaScan’s line of premium public displays.

Previously served by DynaScan’s United States office, the new location is expected to efficiently serve the needs of the digital display market throughout the United Kingdom and the British Isles. “Our new location is an integral step in better connecting with our customers in the UK. Our customers in the region can now pick up the phone during normal business hours and speak directly with a DynaScan representative,” noted DynaScan President, Alan Kaufman.

Mr. Croxford joins DynaScan as a business development manager with broad sales and development experience in the UK market. He joined Ingram Micro Inc. in 2012, serving as a business development manager for the world’s largest wholesale technology distributor and a global leader in IT supply-chain. He also previously acted as an account manager for Medium (UK) Ltd.—the UK’s leading trade-only AV distributor.

Case Study: High Brightness at Lake Zurich – ZSG Installs Outdoor Digital Kiosks

Invidis, a renowned European consulting and communications company for digital signage and DOOH, recently published a case study on high brightness digital signage recently installed in Zurich. The following has been translated and republished with permission:

Cities with large standing bodies of water or rivers around the world rely on ships and ferries for local public transportation, and the city of Zurich is no exception.

The ZSG is part of the Zurich Transport Network (ZVV) since its inception in 1990. Lake Zurich, the Upper Lake and the Limmat River are used by fleets of ships and the sister of ZSG, Limmat River Cruise, and the Horgen-Meilen AG Zurich ferry.

Recently, ZSG deemed it necessary to replace the outdated transportation schedules with a modern, customer-friendly digital signage solution.

One World Observatory Wows Visitors with DynaScan High Brightness LCDs

Located on the 100th floor of New York’s One World Trade Center building, the One World Observatory has employed two unique AV installations that are sure to grab visitor’s attentions.

The first installation is a ring of LCDs–called the City Pulse– which is comprised of ten DynaScan 55″ 5,000 nit high brightness LCDs. According to Commercial Integrator Magazine, “the ring was specifically designed with a special mount to give visitors an unrestricted view of New York City.” Due to the high amount of ambient light the observatory receives from its paned window exterior, sunlight readable LCDs were necessary for video content to be easily seen.

Innovation indoors and outdoors
