System integrator and DynaScan channel partner, tis touristik-informations-systeme, has recently begun offering its outdoor WEBtis information kiosks with high brightness screens from DynaScan.

WEBtis is a user-friendly web-based information system for outdoor and indoor use and accesses existing site or regional web pages, allowing guests to always have the most current information delivered from the Internet.  Using the touch screen interface, users can retrieve information such as accommodations, upcoming of events and attractions, education and culture, sports and leisure activities, city and regional information, as well as weather forecasts, webcams. Zoo Goers Get Up Close to Polar Bears with High Brightness Outdoor Display

To help visitors get a glimpse of its new polar bear, Lale, born in March, the Bremerhaven Zoo in Germany recently installed a 72″ large knoXbox® outdoor display.  The zoo worked with system integrator ide-tec KG to procure a solution that would be bright enough to be seen throughout the day, and large enough to be seen by as many visitors as possible.

The World Cup Shines Bright on DynaScan High Brightness Displays

Throughout the course of the World Cup, CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Company)has been presenting World Cup viewing parties across Canada. Each Saturday, during the tournament, live games are shown in a different city on a 4×4 video wall, comprised of 16 DS47LT4 2500 nit high brightness LCDs. Working with Toronto-based BOOM! Marketing, the companies travel across the country with a satellite truck to provide the live video feed. The events are free to the public.

DynaScan Unveils Second Generation 47 & 55-inch Narrow Bezel High Brightness LCDs with Brighter Image, Thinner Profile

The City of Nancy Installs ViaDirect City Interactive Wayfinding Solution Powered By DynaScan

The city of Nancy, France, just installed the latest ViaDirect City solution, an interactive wayfinding and information solution, at the Office du Commerce in Maginot square. Placed in the window of the office, the kiosk is powered by a 2500 nit 55 inch DynaScan high brightness LCD (DS55LT4), and utilizes a multi-touch film situated between the screen and the glass for interactivity from the outside.
