DynaScan Announces World’s Brightest Professional LCD

DynaScan Technology, a leader in manufacturing professional display solutions, today announced a new 55” high brightness LCD.  The display features a full HD LCD with an ultra-high brightness backlight producing a sunlight viewable 7,000 nit image.

The DS551LT7 is designed for applications in high ambient light environments. With a daylight viewable brightness rating of 7,000 nits, the display is an ideal solution for storefront windows, outdoor kiosks, and other locations with direct sunlight.

PARTTEAM Builds All-Weather NOMYU Kiosks Around DynaScan High Brightness LCDs

Since 2000, PARTTEAM GROUP has been developing innovative multimedia kiosks and digital billboards.  It’s newest product – NOMYU – brings together a touch interface in a rugged all-weather enclosure and is powered by a DynaScan 47″ ultra high brightness LCD producing a daylight viewable 2,500 nits of brightness.

According to PARTTEAM, it was a challenge to develop a multimedia kiosk with many features and capabilities and maintain a very small thickness. PARTTEAM ‘s unique long-standing experience in developing kiosks was crucial to not only deliver a fully featured product, but one that is beautiful with a high level of finishing.

WEBtis is a user-friendly web-based information system for outdoor and indoor use and accesses existing site or regional web pages, allowing guests to always have the most current information delivered from the Internet.  Using the touch screen interface, users can retrieve information such as accommodations, upcoming of events and attractions, education and culture, sports and leisure activities, city and regional information, as well as weather forecasts, webcams. Zoo Goers Get Up Close to Polar Bears with High Brightness Outdoor Display

To help visitors get a glimpse of its new polar bear, Lale, born in March, the Bremerhaven Zoo in Germany recently installed a 72″ large knoXbox® outdoor display.  The zoo worked with system integrator ide-tec KG to procure a solution that would be bright enough to be seen throughout the day, and large enough to be seen by as many visitors as possible.
